Early 18thC Walnut Longcase clock : ' Tho Carter , Bp Anckland ' (Bishop Auckland ) a herring bone inlaid and cross banded Walnut early 18thC 5 pillared movement with internal countwheel, the case with caddy top , gilded wood finials, 12" brass dial , silvered chapter ring enclosing a matted centre, with ringed winding holes, gilded spandrels , seconds dial and date aperture , the hands finely pierced, with brass covered weights , long door and standing 86" high (without finials)
