18thC Longcase Clock: 'James Wood, Dorchester (G H Baillie - 1760, Dorset) a slim South English cased grandfather clock, with chinoiserie and acanthus decorated brass breakarch 12" dial (with minutes aswell as Roman numerals and 'Strike- Silent' to breakarch, formerly striking on a bell) inset seconds and calendar dials, the tall slim mahogany case with receded columns with brass Corinthian capitals, 1/4 columns to back, long trunk door, 1/4 receded columns with brass Corinthian capitals to trunk corners, 85" high.
