Musical Instruments: a mid-20thC German violin, bearing label for Otto Viener, Mittenwald (dated 1953.)
Constructed from boxwood (top) and flamed maple (back, sides, neck and headstock), fitted with rosewood tuning pegs and chin pad, ebony fingerboard and tailpiece. Cased with bow, strings, rest, pitch pipes and rosin. The violin approximately 23 1/2" long
