Buckingham Clock: 'Ernest Smith, Buckingham', a large ebonised cased Vienna Regulator Timepiece wall clock, from Oddfellows Hall, Well Street, Buckingham. It has a two piece dial with inset seconds dial at 6, the whole case measuring 62" high.

'Ernest Arthur Smith of Buckingham
Born in 1868, the son of James Arthur Smith, clock & watchmaker of Devizes. Moved to Buckingham c.1890 where he set up in partnership with his brother Harold Graham Smith at 22 Bridge Street, Buckingham, where they traded as Smith Bros. The partnership ended in 1895. Ernest Smith continued to trade from 22 Bridge Street until 1899, when the shop was taken over by Montague Chapman Okey.'
