A late 19thC George Henry Walton designed Arts & Crafts open armchair, with caned seat and backrest, hand painted floral motifs and standing on turned tapering legs.

This unusual chair design appeared in Miss Cranstons tea rooms, which were furnished and designed by artisans such as Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald of the Glasgow Four.
